Vive le Pocket Bar and its French crepes!!!!

How exciting to finally see some Small, independent bars popping up in Sydney- especially owned by French guys like the POCKET BAR!! Just down the road from the office -corner of Crow St and Burton in Darlinghurst, the chic and intimate Pocket Bar has just emerged from a garage hall last Friday. The interior is warm and comfy, with baroque style furnitures, red velvet lounges and trashy pop art on the walls, the music pumps and the friendly atmosphere would make you stay there for, at least a few… bottles!! They have a good variety of cocktails and affordable wines (not like the Beresford :) – $21 for a bottle of pinot griggio or sem sauv blanc / bottle of rose for $33, and authentic french CREPES! On the menu: Goat cheese crepes with ratatouille, smoked salmon and spinach will be the first ones i’ll try and, of couse, the FamouS crepe au Nutella!!!!!
_Well done Frenchies xx!
The City of Sydney is hosting free seminars to help people set up new small bars, and by the look of it, all of them being booked out to the max, the Pocket Bar should see lil sisters and brothers joining the trend. Could we see Sydney transform to a mini Paris?
